Since it's hot and the skiing is sooo slow without a freeze, I went looking for wildflowers behind the capitol.

Lewis flax on the switchbacks coming outta City Creek.

First of the sego lilies. I saw more but, too windy for picture taking. I did manage to get one of a new flower, at least new for me.

Tufted evening primrose. Opens up late in the day and supposed to turn pink in the sun.

Course there's thistle. Wild roses were blooming up higher.
